About

Would you like to integrate your Catholic spirituality with outdoor activities and fellow Catholic men who share your faith?  Spend a day hiking or canoeing, or an overnight camping, with time set aside for communal prayer, some quiet time alone, and lots of fellowship.  Attend Holy Mass together, either before or after the outing.  Other outdoor activities can be included also, as the group’s interest desires.

Spirituality

As a Frassati Group, CNY Catholic Outdoorsmen commit to "The Pact", a pledge to each day pray the "Prayer for the Courage to be Great" and to do one small act of charity daily.

 

The outdoors provides an ideal setting to detach from everyday concerns and re-connect with God.  The Catholic faith has a long tradition of contemplation to draw closer to our Lord and of community to encourage and help eachother on our journey.

This is a new men’s group, just starting up.  It is open to men age 18 to 118.  There is no cost to join or attend, other than sharing any cost associated with a particular outing.  Most events should be totally free.  Click on the "Contact" tab to connect with us and help plan the next outing!
